Opticon selects Sibert SPS for Blu-ray Stampers

Sibert announced at Media Tech Europe 2009 in Frankfurt that Opticon has signed an order for SPS equipment for BD mastering at its facility in Tripolis, Greece. 

Communications regarding the project have been ongoing for some time between David Gardner (Sales Manager, Sibert) and Vangelis Angelakos (CEO, Opticon).   The relationship between the two companies has developed over that time and it will undoubtedly develop further into the future.  

David Gardner said:

“We are delighted that Opticon has chosen Sibert equipment for their mastering facility.  It is good news to see further independent Mastering facilities entering the BD arena and we wish Opticon every success with the project.  We also look forward to working closely with Opticon and maintaining the relationship we have built up to now. ”

As an integral equipment supplier to the industry, Sibert has invested several years of concentrated research into their latest SPS equipment, in order to meet the increased demands of BD manufacturing specifications. Therefore, Sibert equipment was the clear choice for Opticon.
